This commendation comes after the actor stirred controversy when he shared a cartoon related to the moon mission, involving a tea seller. In response to the backlash, he clarified, "Hate sees only Hate… I was referring to a joke of #Armstrong times… celebrating our Kerala Chaiwala… which Chaiwala did the trolls see?
