Last week, Bollywood was seen busy attending Diwali bashes and celebrating the festivities with their respective families and close ones. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was in the US with her husband Nick Jonas and mother Madhu Chopra, had a special celebration this year since it was her first Diwali with daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. After celebrating it in an authentic and traditional manner at their LA residence, the husband-wife duo, PC and Nick Jonas attended the Diwali party of the actress’ manager Anjula Acharia.

Anjula Acharia planned a low-key Diwali bash with close friends at her US residence. It was attended by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas along with some of their friends. The photo was Anjula on her Instagram story earlier this weekend and the photo seems to have garnered a lot of attention from fans of the actress.

Meanwhile, coming to the celebrations at the Jonas household, the couple gave us glimpses of their Laxmi pooja and Diwali rituals on their social media. While Nick Jonas shared photos of the couple posing with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, Priyanka too posted some photos from the traditional ceremony that also included her mother Madhu Chopra. A day before the celebrations began, the family also went out for a dinner night to kick start the festivities.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will soon be seen in the much talked about the American space, sci-fi drama Citadel which will stream on Amazon Prime. The actress also has Hollywood films in the pipeline along with the Bollywood film Jee Le Zara featuring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. While the film is yet to go on floors, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar will soon be locking the date for this female-centric road trip drama.
