Purab Kohli, the man who is best known for his role as KD (Killer Drummer) in the 2008 musical Rock On!, is now all set to play the role of a captive prisoner in the Indian remake of Homeland. The series also marks Nikhil Advani's foray into television.
For this series, we hear that Purab Kohli even went in for a major makeover. In order to get it right, he went and got himself a supercool haircut in order to portray the dark character that he is playing. If that wasn't enough, reports state that, he has also been told to lose oodles of weight, because, the prisoners were held captive and Purab needed to look the part.

Besides Purab Kohli, the other actors who will be seen in this TV series include Sandhya Mridul, Satyadeep Mishra and Amrita Puri. The shoot of the show will commence next week.
