Animal has been creating waves at the box office and many of the industry insiders have showered immense love on the action entertainer. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and actor Ranbir Kapoor has been receiving ample praises from many of their well-wishers, fans. Although some of them have expressed their displeasure about certain sequences in the film, most of them have showered their appreciation on the film. Among them is also JugJugg Jeeyo filmmaker Raj Mehta.

Raj Mehta took to social media to review the film Animal. He not only appreciated Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his directorial skills but also gushed about Ranbir Kapoor’s acting skills. Taking to Instagram, he posted a story saying, “Audacious, Impactful. Gooseflesh-inducing.” He further went on to add, “Ranbir and SRV- a tip of the hat”. In the review, he also addressed a few trolls which were directed towards the film owing to certain scenes, sequences, and dialogues, as he continued, “Problematic? Perhaps. Absolute fuckin game-changer? Hell Yeah!!!”

For the unversed, Animal is an action entertainer, which brought together Ranbir Kapoor along with Pan India actress Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. The film deals with the journey of Ranvijay, who grows up obsessing over his father but never ends up receiving his love because of the latter’s busy schedule. His obsession soon turns into him becoming one of the most dreaded monsters aka animal, who decides to take on the man who conspired an attack against his father.

The film also features Anil Kapoor as Ranbir’s father with Rashmika as the Kapoor boy’s wife. Bobby Deol essays the role of the antagonist along with Triptii Dimri, Siddhant Karnick, Saloni Batra, among others essaying pivotal roles. Produced by T-Series, the film released on December 1 in all South Indian languages as well as in Hindi.
