The fairytale wedding that had us swooning over, of the It couple – Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh transpired amidst family and close friends at Lake Como in Italy on November 13 and 14. The duo chose to wed in the traditional South Indian Konkani style and the North Indian Anand Karaj ceremonies. The beautiful pictures that the couple officially released left us speechless! The duo had chosen the ubiquitous wedding maverick, Sabyasachi Mukherjee for their wedding attire. While much was not revealed about the details on their beautiful bespoke ensembles, Sabyasachi regaled our senses by revealing the intricate details of how the stunning red ensembles of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were made in two videos on his official Instagram handle.

Deepika Padukone’s lehenga and dupatta underwent an ardent task of natural dying, intricate weaving and hand work embroidery.

Ranveer Singh’s sherwani was carefully crafted of Benarasi printed silk with handpicked buttons and also featured intricate hand embroidery.
