Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have flown off to an unknown destination to kick-start their New Year. The actress is also set to ring in her birthday in January 5. While the couple is on their much needed vacation aka honeymoon, Deepika was made aware that there is a dosa named after her in Austin, Texas.

The actress retweeted a fan’s post about the dosa and wrote “what a great way to begin the year...Happy New Year!”

Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh, had the most spicy reaction to the dishes and joked on his Instagram story saying, “I’d eat that.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is basking in the success of his recent release, Simmba. The film has already crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office. Deepika, on the other hand, is set to start her next film Chhapaak with Meghna Gulzar, a biopic on acid attack survivour Laxmi Agarwal
