When the promo of Jai Ho had released in December last year, it had seen a mixed response coming its way. That reflected in the film's opening as well which was good, but not excellent, that had been a trend with Salman Khan starrers ever since Dabangg started his trend of 100 crore superhits.

No wonder, now that the promo of Kick is being readied, there is special attention being paid on ensuring that Salman Khan fans have a lot to cheer about from the word 'Go', once it is unveiled.

"First time director Sajid Nadiadwala, who has already scored a hat-trick of successes this year as a producer with 2 States, Heropanti and Highway, is spending considerable amount of time in making it picture perfect. Making sure that his first time effort of coming behind the camera turns out to be something special indeed, Sajid is carefully planning the entire promotion, marketing and release campaign of Kick, where the first step is to get the promo that is stupendous enough to guarantee instant attention for the film," informs an insider.

Even as the promo of his Kick is currently approaching its final stages of being readied for release, those who have had a dekko at work in progress vouch for it to be extraordinary by all means. Reason being that Kick is being touted as the biggest ever action film to be coming out of Bollywood and with the benchmark of Dhoom series being surpassed.

"For Salman too, it is a huge expectation indeed to get a superb response for Kick. The stage is set since it is an Eid release and last time when a film of his (Ek Tha Tiger) released on this festival occasion, not just the opening was stupendous but the overall collections too fell just a little short of Rs. 200 crores. Now Kick is obviously aiming for a number much bigger than that and the first step is to get the promo perfect," a source adds.

This is the reason why Sajid is making sure that the promo by itself is such an out and out entertainer that it fetches 'repeat viewing' from the audience. With ample dose of action as well as Salman's antics coming into play, promo of Kick is said to be the kind that indeed gives a kick.

With hardly a few days pending for the promo launch to take place, which should be an event in itself, one looks forward to what Sajid has to offer for Salman's super-strong fan-base.
