It is a known fact that the kind-hearted superstar Salman Khan shares a deep friendship with many celebrities in B-town including music composers Sajid-Wajid. With the sudden demise of Wajid Khan during the pandemic, the film industry lost one of its most beloved musician duos, and recently on the day of his birth anniversary, his brother Sajid Khan along with the late musician’s rest of the team as well as Salman fondly remembered his work and celebrated the day together.

The official social media handle of the musician duo, on Wednesday evening, shared a video of Salman Khan joining Sajid Khan during the birth anniversary celebrations and also cut the cake along with Sajid, as he continued to remember his late friend fondly. Readers would be aware that the musician duo have given Khan one of his most cherished and blockbuster album Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004. The actor also shared a great personal friendship with Sajid and Wajid. As his brother remembered Wajid and his work, the caption in his post read, “Wajid u will and u r still alive in our hearts n in our everyday life ??yes I know u with me my love ?? my prayers always find u??@salmankhan @beingsalmankhan #brothers #love #prayer ??. ??u bro”.

For the unversed, apart from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, the musician duo have worked with Salman Khan in many of his other films, wherein they have either composed the movie albums solely or have collaborated with other music directors like Amaal Malik, Himesh Reshammiya, among others.

Speaking of Salman Khan, the actor is currently busy wrapping up the shoot of his highly anticipated film with Sajid Nadiadwala - Sikandar, which also stars an ensemble cast including actresses Rashmika Madanna and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles. The film is directed by A R Murugadoss and is slated to release during Eid 2025. Recently, Nadiadwala also announced Kick 2 with the superstar in the lead.
