Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra was busy with the wedding celebrations of her older sister Shagun Malhotra who got married to Achin Jain, who was the producer of Kathal and Oscar-winning documentary The Elephant Whisperers. The actress has been sharing glimpses from the festivities and one of the videos from the sangeet ceremony has gone viral.

In a video, Sanya is seen dancing to electrifying beats of ‘One Two Three Four’ from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express. Sanya, dressed in a shimmery modern saree ensemble, set the dance floor on fire with choregrapher Joe Joshi. Sharing the video on Instagram, Joe wrote, “Sangeet ho aur hum saath na nache aise kaise ho sakta hai. [We just can't give sangeet night a miss].”

Over the weekend, Sanya Malhotra's sister Shagun got married to producer Achin Jain in a dreamy ceremony. Sharing the photos of newlyweds, Sanya wrote, “Love and only love, didi and Jija ji.” She also shared a series of photos from the haldi and mehendi ceremonies.

On the work front, Sanya Malhotra was most recently seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's First Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film saw Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. She will next star in Mrs, Hindi remake of The Great Indian Kitchen, which had its world premiere at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2023.
