Bollywood actress Sayani Gupta recently took to social media to lash out at Indian men on flights, calling them "the f**king worst." She shared a terrible experience she had on a recent flight, where a man almost smashed her face with his backpack without realising it.

Gupta's post has resonated with many people who have had similar experiences on flights. She highlighted the chaos that often ensues inside flights, with people talking loudly on their phones, cracking jokes, coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths, and having no sense of personal space.

"Indian men on flights are just the f**king worst! Loud phones, cracks, coughing, sneezing without covers, no sense of space, uncouth!" Gupta wrote. "Oh one guy almost smashed my face with his back pack! And didn't even realise while everyone else gasped! Ya..many of you reading this are in the same bracket! Thanks!"

The rant got a number of varying reactions on social media. “She forgot the disgusting stares, like what the F are you staring at, haven’t seen a woman before,” wrote a Reddit user while another asserted, “I agree there are plenty of rude people who don’t understand the concept of being in a public space or personal space in general, but why do you think it’s only men.” Another wrote, “If you think men in the West are any different, there are rude uncouth people everywhere, but everyone has to look down on whatever comes out of India, shrugs.”
