Shah Rukh Khan has been on a roll today. The superstar took his legion of fans by surprise by announcing the release date of his much-awaited film Pathaan. It is also the first time the actor officially announced the film, an announcement his fans have been waiting for, ever since the film went on floors in November 2020. The film directed by Siddharth Anand also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.
Soon after the Pathaan announcement, the film and the cast of the film were trending on Twitter. Even before fans could contain their excitement about the film, Shah Rukh Khan dropped the second surprise- by hosting an #AskSRK session on Twitter. On Wednesday evening, he asked fans to shoot their questions and held a quick session and his answers were filled with his trademark humour, wit, and candour.
The superstar began by responding to fans questioning the delay in the announcement and the 10-month wait for the release of the film and his responses are going to once again remind you why he is called King Khan.

Some of his fans had also landed up outside his house after the announcement to thank him for making the announcement. Reacting to it, he wrote, "If I knew you were coming home would have told you personally…thank you being there. My love to you. Keep the placard safely for the next few announcements. #Pathaan".
