However, as it turns out, this signature move was born out of a rather unexpected circumstance. In a moment of lightheartedness, the actor revealed the origin story, explaining, “Back in the day, we used to do what is called a 'dip', as a part of the choreography, and I tried very hard to do it for a dance I had to do, but on the day, I was told that I looked bad doing that and this choreographer asked me to stretch my arms instead, it is really nothing more.”

Khan also delved into his experiences collaborating with women in the film industry. With a characteristic charm, he expressed a preference for working with female colleagues, citing their sensitivity, nuanced approach, and ability to create a more aesthetically pleasing environment on set. “I do find that having worked a lot with women, as actors, directors and producers, I do find them more sensitive and nuanced. Men compartmentalize their feelings. Women are more overarching. They also, to be honest, make the films look nicer. I don't want it to sound inappropriate, they do smell better. They have shampooed, they laugh more and Farah Khan especially, she used to feed us very well, and she has got a great sense of humour. Plus, I am more in touch with my feminine side. I am not too much into guns and action and all that,” he shared.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next star in Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller King. Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan are also a part of it.
