Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have been one of the few couples from the film fraternity to set new marriage goals for the arranged marriage couples. In fact, their chemistry is often appreciated during the rare appearances that Mira makes on camera, since she doesn’t belong to the fraternity. Despite that, the couple’s oh-so-cute moments on social media have a massive fan following and recently when the doting husband shared a lovely birthday post on the platform, the netizens also showered love on the same.

On the occasion of Mira Kapoor’s birthday on September 7, Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to share a series of photos of them from photoshoots and other special moments, and along with that, he also penned a beautiful wish for his ‘queen’ saying, “Mira the queen of my heart. Happy birthday to you and oh so lucky me to have you all for me always and forever.” While his wish was followed by many fans wishing the birthday girl on her special day, many of the industry colleagues and friends also shared their wishes. Among them was Farhan Akhtar and Kiara Advani who dropped their wishes in the comment section, whereas actresses like Ananya Panday and Rakul Preet Singh took to their Instagram story to share photos and birthday notes for Mira.

Apart from this, many fans who had arrived on the platform to share birthday wishes to Mira Rajput, also couldn’t stop gushing about the Kapoors setting marriage goals. “If arranged marriage can be like this then y not,” said a fan whereas another one added, “Arrange marriage aisi ho ki love marriage bakwaas lage (Arranged marriage should be like this that makes you feel bad about love marriage)”. Yet another fan continued, “If arrange marriage looks like this dammm I wanna do it”.

Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in a traditional ceremony on July 7, 2015. The couple had their first child Misha Kapoor in 2016 and later, a son Zain Kapoor in 2018.
