Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings star Simu Liu grooved to the smash hit 'Jalebi baby' doing bhangra moves with rapper Tesher on stage at Sunday’s Juno Awards in Toronto.
Canadian-Indian rapper Hitesh Sharma, known as Tesher, performed at the awards and was later joined by host Simu Liu as they both went on to sing and groove together. A two-minute long, high-octane performance ended with Liu and Tesher performing the bhangra sequence, which was enough to make the crowd go wild. Towards the end, Liu gave Tesher a shoutout, saying, "Now that's how we celebrate Asian heritage." The video of the Marvel star doing bhangra with energetic moves has been taking rounds of the internet.
The rapper also shared a video from the event on his Instagram writing, “Me and @simuliu brought bhangra to the MCU baby!!! Shoutout to the @thejunoawards awards for letting me perform and showcase South Asian culture on the biggest music stage in Canada. I'm still shook!!! also NEW MUSIC NEXT MONTH BABYYYY.
