Shatrughan Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal bond ahead of the latter’s wedding with Sonakshi Sinha : Bollywood News

With news reports of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tying the knot this week, another set of reports have been stating that the Sinha family is unhappy about this alliance. However, the bride-to-be’s father Shatrughan Sinha had earlier stated that he would always support his daughter in her decisions and further asserting his stand, the Sinha family, that is, Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha were seen meeting Zaheer and his father.

In a set of videos which have found their way on social media, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were captured by the paparazzi as they made their exit from the venue along with Zaheer Iqbal and his father Iqbal Ratansi. Furthermore, Zaheer and Shatrughan Sinha were also seen exchanging warm greetings as they posed for the cameras.

Shatrughan Sinha expresses support to Sonakshi Sinha

After several rumours claimed that the Sinha family will not be attending the wedding, in an interview with Zoom, Shatrughan Sinha had extended his support towards his daughter saying, “I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn't I and why won't I?" and went on to state, “Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live life together. They look very nice together.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer are expected to have a court wedding on June 23, followed by a grand bash in the evening which is said to be held in Bastian, Mumbai. The party is reportedly a private affair, attended by family members and close friends.

Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, is now gearing up for the release of the horror comedy Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The actress also has the fantasy drama Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness in the pipeline.
