Shehnaaz Gill’s brother and father pen emotional note for Sidharth Shukla: ‘Still can’t believe…’

Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh Sukh shared a photo with late actor Sidharth Shukla on his Instagram handle and mentioned that he still cannot move on from his death. On September 2, Sidharth died due to a massive heart attack.

Sharing the photo on Monday, Santokh wrote, “Vishwas nahin ho raha Tum hamesha Dil mein rahoge (Still can’t believe… You always stay in our hearts).” In a previous post, he shared a photo of Sidharth that was captioned as “Zindagi ka sach bas itna sa hai, insaan pal bhar mein yaad ban jaata hai (The truth of life is that man just becomes a memory).”

Recently, Shehnaaz’s brother Shehbaaz shared a photo of him and Sidharth, which was from the Bigg Boss house. He wrote, “Akhon se tu hai dur par dil ke bahut kareeb hai AB BAGWAN ki tarah sidharth bai teri pooja kronga ab yahi mere naseeb hai SHER @realsidharthshukla (You are far away from my eyes but very close to my heart. Now I will worship you like God Sidharth brother. Now this is my fate).”

On Monday, Paras Chhabra shared a video on his Instagram handle from the virtual prayer meeting that was conducted by the sisters of Brahma Kumaris and fans and friends of the late actor were requested to join it. In the video, sister Shivani of Brahma Kumaris talks about Sidharth’s mother, Rita Shukla, and the strength she showed after his death. She says, “When I spoke to Rita aunty on September 2, she just said ‘Om Shanti’. There was so much strength in that ‘Om Shanti’. I kept thinking where did she get this strength from. When I asked her how she is doing, she told me ‘I just have one wish from the Almighty, he should stay happy wherever he is.’”

Sharing the video, Paras Chhabra wrote, “Rita aunty more power to you aur Ye sunne ke baad i got some power Thank you for this beautiful satsang #RIPsidharthshukla (sic).”

On September 6, Sidharth’s family issued their first statement that thanked the fans for their unconditional love and also requested privacy for the family. “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve (sic),” the statement read.
