Popular television actress Shivangi Joshi, best known for her role as Naira Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently addressed rumours about her relationship with Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka co-star Kushal Tandon. At a recent event, Joshi answered questions about their rumoured relationship, but some people on social media edited and misconstrued her words, causing emotional distress for her and her family.

Shivangi Joshi took to Instagram to express her disappointment with the situation. In a lengthy note, she explained, "I was asked about the rumour doing the rounds and I replied that rumours come and go. But people edited the same and presented it in a wrong manner." She emphasized that she is a private person and prefers not to discuss her personal life publicly. Joshi shared that the outcome was "a lot of uncalled-for remarks and statements causing emotional turmoil for my family." She requested everyone to respect her privacy, stating, "Taking advantage of someone's generic statement and bashing them and their families is not at all human."

Kushal Tandon also addressed the issue on his Twitter account. He posted a note saying, "People who love me and who r associated with me, plz be calm and focus on your life n stay happy and rocking like me, few stupid morons and assholes sitting behind a desk-top with a jobless life doesn’t effect me ??mast rahooooo, Kuyikiii yahaaa Ek nahi anek chuitiye hain." Tandon's statement highlighted his disdain for the online trolls and emphasized his desire for his supporters to remain unaffected by the negativity.

For those unacquainted, Shivangi and Kushal portray the lead couple in Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka. Their on-screen chemistry as Aradhana and Reyansh has impressed many, sparking rumours of a real-life romance and potential engagement. Despite the speculation, both actors have called for respect and privacy regarding their personal lives.
