Despite the film being a supernatural thriller without masala elements, it still has had a weekend of over Rs. 50 crores in India itself.

Singham Returns (2014): Rs. 140.62 crores

Singham Returns, the sequel to the popular Singham, performed exceptionally well at the box office, crossing the Rs. 140 crores mark. Ajay Devgn's powerful portrayal of Bajirao Singham and the film's high-octane action sequences contributed to its success. It also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amole Gupte and Zakir Hussain in pivotal roles. The third film in the franchise Singham Again is all set to release this year on Independence Day.

Total Dhamaal (2019): Rs. 154.23 crores

Total Dhamaal, with its ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, etc, and rib-tickling comedy, entertained audiences and it crossed the Rs. 150 crores milestone at the box office. The film's blend of humor and adventure proved to be a winning formula. The popularity of the first film Dhamaal also helped its cause.

Golmaal Again (2017): Rs. 205.69 crores

Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again became a massive hit, crossing the Rs. 200 crores mark at the Indian box office. Its success was attributed to its ensemble cast, which also starred Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra and Neil Nitin Mukesh, hilarious storyline, and the popularity of the Golmaal franchise.

Drishyam 2 (2022): Rs. 240.54 crores

Drishyam 2, the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, came at a time when Bollywood movies were not working at the box office. But this Abhishek Pathak directorial not only worked but went onto earn a mammoth Rs. 240.54 crores at the box office. It also starred Tabu, Kamlesh Sawant, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020): Rs. 279.55 crores

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2020 and the highest grossing film of Ajay Devgn. Its epic tale of valor and patriotism, combined with stellar performances, resonated well with audiences, propelling it to box office success. Directed by Om Raut, the movie also starred Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in pivotal roles.
