Sonam Kapoor, amidst the hectic shoot schedules, has decided to take off to Sri Lanka to ring in her bestie Samyukta Nair’s birthday. The actress has been exploring the island along with her girl gang which also includes her sister Rhea Kapoor and their designer friend Shehla Khan.

In fact, the two Kapoor sisters have been updating fans on social media about their recent trip, wherein Sonam even posted this picture with the birthday girl Samyukta and also dedicated a small note on their friendship saying, “Dear Sammy.. we are so blessed to have you in our lives.. your moral compass surpasses that of many and you know that to me is the most important virtue. On the other hand, Rhea Kapoor too posted an image with the entire girl gang captioning it as ‘Family portrait’ on Instagram.

As for work, Sonam Kapoor will next wrap up the last leg of the Akshay Kumar starrer Padman, in which she plays the role of a journalist. Furthermore, Sonam Kapoor will also kick start her sister Rhea’s next production, Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan making a comeback post motherhood.
