Even though Shah Rukh Khan may have sported a moustache many a times in his films, this time round, he will be sporting 'the mooch' for a noble cause. And the noble cause is the campaign initiated by Farhan Akhtar called MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination).
SRK supports Farhan Akhtar’s MARD
As a part of the promotions, Farhan Akhtar will distribute a whopping 70, 000 fake moustaches on April 26, when SRK's team Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Preity Zinta's Kings 11 Punjab at Eden Gardens. Needless to say, on that day, everyone in the stadium (including SRK and Preity) will show their support to the cause.
Readers may recall that Farhan conceptualized MARD after a Mumbai lawyer Pallavi Purkayastha was sexually assaulted and then killed by her residential building's watchman.
