Taapsee Pannu shares a throwback photo from Manmarziyaan shoots, reveals why it was special : Bollywood News

If you have watched Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan, you'd remember that the film features protagonists Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan taking the wedding vows at a Gurudwara. While this was definitely not the first time Taapsee was dressing up as a bride, in an Instagram post, she revealed what was special about that particular wedding scene.

The actor shared a photo of herself dressed as a Punjabi bride, sitting inside the Gurudwara. "Just before the interval sequence of #Manmarziyaan. One of my favourite moments in the film. As an actor who has acted in quite a few films now I have probably dressed up as a bride many times but this was the first one in Gurudwara. Have only seen gurudwara weddings so closely in real life during the wedding functions of family members, friends n relatives," she wrote.

It must have been a wonderful experience to recreate the same ceremony that she witnessed so many times in reality. But Taapsee had something more on her mind. "So here I’m sitting n thinking........end mein kadah prashaad real mein milega ki nahi," she confesses. Haha...hope your wish came true!

Taapsee, who was last seen in Saand Ki Aankh and played world's oldest sharp-shooter, will be next seen in Aanand L Rai's production venture Haseen Dillruba.
