Actress Tara Sutaria made her Bollywood debut in 2019, and since then, there is no going back for the actress. From her warm personality to her on-point fashion sense, she keeps making headlines for various reasons. Once again, the actress has grabbed everyone’s attention as she has kickstarted the shooting of her upcoming film titled Apurva.

Taking to her verified social media handle, Sutaria shared a photo from the set of her upcoming flick. The image, shared on her Instagram story, features a clapboard reading the title along with a gun placed below it. Giving a caption to the same, Tara wrote, “And it begins,’ followed by a black heart emoticon.

The Student Of The Year 2 actress later exclaimed, “All set to be Apurva”. Her brief write-up further read, “A film and role I have been waiting for. And a tale of the true strength. Wit and power that we as women possess.” She also expressed her gratitude towards Murad Khetani, the producer of the film. “Finally ready to roll!!! Let’s Go!”, read a part of her caption. On the other hand, Star Studios also made the announcement of the same with a video.

Apurva was announced this year in July. The forthcoming flick is jointly produced by Star Studios and Murad Khetani. Along with Tara, it will also star Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav and Dhairya Karwah in pivotal roles.

Post the announcement, Tara said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better script and as a young woman, it makes me proud to be able to play ‘Apurva’, in a statement. The Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directorial is said to be a story of a woman, 'who survives a dangerous night, using her wits and strength in this high-stakes game of life and death'.
