“The police force is risking their lives every single day”- Ayushmann Khurrana condemns attacks on security personnel

Ayushmann Khurrana is troubled reading about the number of cases of violence against police personnel in various cities of India amid coronavirus crisis. The socially conscious actor is deeply disturbed about such acts of crime against cops who are risking their lives daily to protect the citizens of our country.

Ayushmann took to social media to condemn such violent acts. “I feel terrible reading about the heinous attacks on cops and security personnel that is happening across the country. The police force is risking their lives every single day to keep us, our families and our friends safe and I condemn such attacks on them.”

Several instances of violence like a cop’s hand being chopped off in Patiala while on duty to prevent people from stepping out of their homes, mob attacks on policemen in Bhopal and Cuttack, Ahmedabad have been surfacing in the last couple of days. Ayushmann urged all Indians to appreciate the hard work that our police force is putting in to keep COVID-19 pandemic at bay.

“They are putting us and our lives before theirs and we should respect how they are fighting for us to keep us all protected. All Indians should celebrate the police force and salute them! Jai Hind!” the actor said.

कोरोनोवायरस संकट के बीच सुरक्षाकर्मियों पर लोगों को हमला करते देखकर आयुष्मान खुराना काफी चिंतित हैं, और कहते हैं कि: “मैं देश की पुलिस फोर्स पर किए गए हमलों की निंदा करता हूँ!”

कोरोनोवायरस संकट के दौर में देश के कई शहरों में पुलिसवालों के खिलाफ हिंसा की ख़बरें पढ़कर आयुष्मान खुराना बेहद दुखी हैं। सोशल इश्यू को लेकर हमेशा जागरूक रहने वाले अभिनेता उन सभी पुलिसवालों के खिलाफ हिंसा के मामलों से बहुत परेशान हैं, जो देश के नागरिकों की सुरक्षा के लिए हर दिन अपनी जान जोखिम में डाल रहे हैं।

हिंसा की ऐसी घटनाओं की निंदा के लिए आयुष्मान ने सोशल मीडिया का सहारा लिया है। वह कहते हैं, "पुलिसवालों और सुरक्षाकर्मियों पर पूरे देश में हो रहे हमले के बारे में जानकर मेरा मन काफी दुखी हो जाता है। पूरी पुलिस फोर्स हमें, हमारे परिवारों और हमारे दोस्तों को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए हर दिन अपनी जान जोखिम में डाल रही है, और मैं उन पर किए जा रहे हमलों की निंदा करता हूँ।”

पिछले कुछ दिनों में पुलिसवालों पर हिंसा के कई मामले सामने आए हैं, जैसे कि पटियाला में ड्यूटी पर मौजूद पुलिसवाला जब लोगों को घरों से बाहर निकलने से रोकता है, तब उसका हाथ काट दिया जाता है, साथ ही भोपाल, कटक और अहमदाबाद में लोगों की भीड़ पुलिस वालों पर हमला करती है। आयुष्मान देश के हर नागरिक से निवेदन करते हैं कि, वे पुलिसफोर्स की कड़ी मेहनत का सम्मान करें जो देश को कोविड-19 महामारी से बचाने के लिए दिन-रात काम कर रहे हैं।

वह कहते हैं, "वे हमें और हमारी ज़िंदगी बचाने के लिए अपनी जान को दांव पर लगा रहे हैं, इसलिए हमें उनका सम्मान करना चाहिए क्योंकि वे हम सभी की सुरक्षा के लिए लड़ रहे हैं। हर भारतवासी को पुलिस फोर्स की तारीफ़ करनी चाहिए और उन्हें सलाम करना चाहिए! जय हिन्द!
