In a day and age where a film's success is measured not in its ratings but in the amount it earns at the box-office, commercial viability has become a major driving force. Himesh Reshammiya's upcoming film The Xpose is a perfect example of right planning and correct budget which is the most important aspect of filmmaking today. In fact the makers have made the movie in Rs. 9 crores, thanks to extensive pre-production and tremendous concentration on production values in right budget and superb planning.

"Apart from the Rs. 9 crores on production, and another spend of Rs. 6 crores on print and advertising, the recovery of Rs. 15 crores from the release of the film looks like a cake walk. Simultaneously, with the music that is catching attention, the film is generating enough buzz each day. Add to this, the recovery from overseas and satellite rights and the film should be in profits in the first weekend of its release", says director Ananth Mahadevan.
