Throwback: Here’s how Sidharth Malhotra responded when Salman Khan had announced his impending marriage to Kiara Advani

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are all set to tie the knot in a grand ceremony in Jaisalmer today. The two actors kept mum about the wedding and relationship for a long time while speculations were on in the media. However, an old video of Salman Khan has resurfaced when he had indirectly announced Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding.

The video dates back to October last year when Sidharth Malhotra, along with Rakul Preet Singh, was a guest on Salman’s popular reality show Bigg Boss to promote their movie Thank God. During his interaction with Sidharth, Salman had teased him about his upcoming wedding with Kiara.

Salman can be heard saying, “Shaadi Mubarak ho” to Sidharth. He then purposely utters the word ‘Kiara’ instead of ‘pyara’ and ‘Advani’ instead of ‘advice.’ Sidharth clearly looks embarrassed by what Salman said, but in a good way. During the same conversation, Sidharth also teases Salman through the topic of marriage.

For those not in the know, Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding with be taking place in Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer today. Kiara and her family reached Jaisalmer on Saturday February 4 afternoon. Sidharth reached the city of Rajasthan on the same day in the evening with his family. The wedding festivities began the next day on February 5.

At the work front, Sidharth and Kiara acted together in one film, Shershaah, which was released in 2021.
