Filmmaker J.P Dutta's Refugee had marked the debut of two star kids- Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan and Randhir Kapoor’s youngest daughter Kareena Kapoor Khan. Since their debut, they have paved their own way but debut film always will be special for every actor.

It’s been 17 years since the two new star kids were introduced to the audience. On this occasion, filmmaker JP Dutta’s daughter Nidhi Dutta shared a collage of photos from the movie's sets showcasing some candid moments. She captioned it, “17 years ago these 2 amazing actors were brought into the world of cinema by one amazing filmmaker! @juniorbachchan Happy #17yearsofRefugee."
Interestingly, 17 years later, Abhishek Bachchan will once again be collaborating with JP Dutta for a new film titled Paltan.
