Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given a platform to many actors. Now, his niece Sharmin Segal is all set to make her way to the film industry with Bhansali Productions', Malaal. The film will also launch Javed Jaffrey's son, Meezaan Jaffrey. As the two actors have already assisted on different projects for Bhansali, they are really excited that the filmmaker is launching them in Bollywood.
While they are getting love from the industry, Priyanka Chopra has showered love on Sharmin Segal as well. Not many know but Sharmin started her career as an assistant on Priyanka's film, Mary Kom. After that, she was assisting Bhansali on Bajirao Mastani. As a supportive friend, Priyanka recently met Sharmin to have a conversation with the newbie actress and even grooved with her on Malaal song 'Udhal Ho'. The actress first said that Sharmin looked like Kashibai 2.0. And she easily learnt the hook steps of the song.
