Yash Raj Films is gearing up for the biggest action entertainer of the year with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War. With ensemble films and mega-starrers being a norm these days, the two hero films are not made easily owing to insecurities between the stars. But, it wasn't the case in Hrithik and Tiger's film.

Since Hrithik Roshan has been Tiger Shroff's idol, these two stars were delighted to work together. Director Siddharth Anand said that they never competed with each other. He said that they are at the peak of their careers. The minute he would say cut, they would just go back to being their normal selves. He added that if the two stars were to be in same age bracket vying for the same target audience, there could have been an issue. But since they are a generation apart, their audience is different.
Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan have worked together in 2014 film, Bang Bang. They wanted to work together again but waited for the right script. When hunting for another actor, they had Tiger Shroff in mind. And the director said that he agreed to do the film in a day. He added that had Tiger not agreed to do the part, it would have been very difficult to find the right actor.
War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is slated to release on October 2.
