Time and again, Akshay Kumar has stepped forward in support of women safety and how they can learn self-defense techniques. The actor has even visited several academies that help women train in several self defense forms.

On Monday, Akshay Kumar along with his Naam Shabana actress Taapsee Pannu shared an important video with a vital message. Spreading more awareness about women safety and self defense, he posted a video with Taapsee while teaching a method called 'Kohni Maar' which can be used to teach a lesson to the harraser/molestor. He captioned it, "Don't just freeze...ACT & REACT coz ur biggest weapon is with YOU! Watch, learn & show your move with #KohniMaar! Kya pata kab kaam aa jaye.”

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu will soon be hitting the silver screens with Naam Shabana. Taapsee is reprising her role from 2015 film, Baby. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and South actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Directed by Shivam Nair, it is slated to release on March 31 this year.
