Earlier this month it was reported that Deepika Padukone who recently stunned the audience and critics alike with her film Bajirao Mastani left everyone teary eyed at a popular awards function. In fact Deepika, who was awarded at the function, took the stage and read out a 3- 4 paged letter written to her by her father, Prakash Padukone.
While the intense letter reading took some time, the heartfelt feeling and sentiment struck a chord with the audience who all waited graciously till the end. Egged on by her win for Piku that talked about a father daughter relationship, Deepika's was certainly a one of its kind acceptance speech.
