Watch: Priyanka Chopra excited to bring India and US closer through as Global Citizen ambassador

We all know that Priyanka Chopra is the ambassador of United Nation's Global Citizen festival. A few months ago, Priyanka hosted the festival in the US with popular television host, Seth Meyers, actors Neil Patrick Harris, Salma Hayek, and musician Usher.

As Global Citizen is coming to India, Priyanka Chopra is delighted to bring US and India closer. The objective is broadly aimed at ending global poverty by 2030. In a video shared by Global Citizen, Priyanka says, "Namaste Mumbai. As the Global Citizen global ambassador, I am so excited to support the launch for the first Global Citizen Festival in India and I am proud to bring my home country and the US closer through this amazing cause. This is an incredible opportunity to bring real and meaningful change into the lives of people across all over India and inspire the world through your actions."

Global Citizen Festival India will be headlined by International artists like Coldplay and Jay-Z and Bollywood stars Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, AR Rahman, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Arijit Singh, Dia Mirza, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Monali Thakur. The event is scheduled for November 19.
