Just a day ago, the news broke that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be paired opposite each other in Zoya Akhtar's next film Gully Boy. It will be co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's recently-launched banner Tiger Baby and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh may not have shared screen space on the silver screen before but they have worked together on several advertisements for the travel website Make My Trip. From the ads itself, one can see their undeniable chemistry. As soon as the news broke, Ranveer who is very excited to work with Alia shared a hilarious video holding a magazine cover with Alia featured on it and praising her using a morphing app. His funny accent can't be missed. He captioned the video, "Everybody loves @aliaa08 ! Looking faarward !"

Alia, who was amused was to Ranveer's reaction, is equally excited to work with him. She replied, "Hahahah everybody totally loves @RanveerOfficial!!!! Looking double faarward GULLY BOY :)"

While Ranveer Singh is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati that also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania opposite Varun Dhawan in March.
