Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and director-producer Karan Johar recently announced the wrap up of their next, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film, that also marks the reunion of the Gully Boy couple Ranveer and Alia Bhatt, has completed its shoot schedule. A video of the wrap up party has been shared on social media, which gives a sneak peek into the bash and the title track of the film, which is used as the background music for it.

The video gives fans a glimpse of the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani themed cakes, one of which also includes photographs of the main cast of the film. Besides that, it also features the décor, which includes golden balloons that are the initials of the film. It also has Ranveer Singh speaking about how much he wanted to be a part of this film. “I always wanted to be a part of a Karan Johar movie. I always wanted to do a Dharma film. Little did I know my first Dharma film would be directed by the man, the boss himself,” said the actor.

The video also featured some fun moments with the rest of the cast like Shabana Azmi, followed by a video call made by Alia Bhatt who could not be a part of the wrap up bash. Not too long ago, Alia had shared a video of her wrap up from the film where she had also mentioned that she is yet to shoot a song, which she will be doing next year. Readers would be aware that rumours are rife that Alia might go on a maternity break soon, which may pause some of her ongoing films.

Speaking of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, it also stars Jaya Bachchan in a pivotal role. It marks Karan Johar’s directorial after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
