Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se: Punjabi mundas Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol TURN Gujaratis and a glimpse of it can be seen in the teaser!

Taking forward their favourite comedy franchise, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol came together to don their respective avatars that is Yamla Pagla Deewana respectively this year in the third instalment. The film doesn’t bear any resemblance to the past two films from the franchise and is quite different in its approach. Moreover, the three Deols have gone ahead and even learnt a new language - Gujarati for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se.

The recently released teaser of Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se showcases a glimpse of their Gujarati skills too. Interestingly, the three Deols are often seen playing Punjabi mundas, courtesy their ‘jatt’ personalities. In fact, the scenes where the trio is trying to speak Gujarati, which is a part of the promo, will definitely get a smile on your smile.

While it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Deols had to undergo prep for the film, we hear that they also had to undergo language training too. However, if reports are to be believed, it is being said that the trio had fun learning the language and even whilst shooting for these scenes. Moreover, it seems that the crew too were left quite entertained when they saw Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol trying to speak in Gujarati.

Recent reports also suggest that their Gujarati banter will be one of the most intriguing elements in the film. Well, if the recently released teaser is anything to go by, having the Deols speak in Gujarati, looks like an interesting twist!

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, directed by Navaniat Singh, also stars Kriti Kharbanda in the lead. The film, that will also feature popular celebrities like Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha and Rekha in guest appearances, is slated to release on August 15.
