Yo Yo Honey Singh confirms dating Paris Ka Trip star Tina Thadani; calls her “meri girlfriend” at an event, watch

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh parted his ways with ex-wife Shalini Talwar after she filed for divorce last year.

Rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh recently attended an event in Delhi with model Tina Thadani. A video of Honey Singh speaking about his personal and professional life is making rounds on the internet. Putting an end to all the speculation and rumours around his relationship, Singh publicly confirmed his relationship with Tina by calling her “meri girlfriend” at the event.

In a video from the event, the ‘Dope Shope’ singer shared that it was Tina, who gave him the title Honey 3.0, which is also the title of his new album. The singer is also seen talking about his new album on stage as he points toward his girlfriend sitting in the front row. He says, “Meri girlfriend baethi hai Tina, isne mujhe ye naam dia hai. Isne bola ki you are Honey 3.0 This is the third one (my girlfriend Tina is sitting here, she has given me this name, Honey 3.0),” in the video.

For the unversed, Tina Thadani is a Canadian actress and model, who currently lives in Mumbai. She has also directed a short film called The Leftovers, which is based on the educational disparity and the struggle faced by the lower-income group in the slums of Mumbai. The duo sparked the dating rumours after she shared the screen space with Singh in his latest song ‘Paris Ka Trip’.

Talking about Honey Singh’s previous marriage with Shalini Talwar, the former couple got married in 2011. Ten years after the wedding, Shalini approached the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi and filed a case of domestic violence against Singer alongside a compensation of ₹20 crores. Honey has reportedly paid alimony of Rs 1 crore for the divorce settlement.

Post his divorce, Honey said, “I am deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against me and my family by my companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, & negative media coverage in general. However, I see no merit in maintaining a studied silence this time because some of the allegations have been directed at my family – my old parents and younger sister – who have stood by me during some very difficult and trying times and comprise my world,” in a statement.
