Ahead of the International Yoga Day, which falls on June 21, television actress, Vaidika Senjaliya spoke about the influence that Yoga has on her life since her childhood. Vaidika is popularly known for her role of Uttara Dixit in Zee TV’s Tujhse Hai Raabta.
Talking about the influence Yoga has had on her she said, "Yoga is one of the most basic forms of exercise and I’ve been practicing it for the longest period of time. I remember, as a child, I had to deal with a lot of breathing issues and my mother would take me to several Yoga seminars where I practiced Pranayama and meditation. So, you can say that Yoga has had a profound influence on me since my childhood and that has not changed even now."
"With time, I’ve realized that yoga doesn’t only heal your body, but your mind too. Believe me when I say it, your energy and stamina increase through this process and the kind of freshness you feel is unexplainable. I am a regular practitioner of this form and even though the situation is such that we can’t go out, I have made it a point to attend my yoga classes online and not miss it any single day. It is the only exercise that helps me stay calm and find peace whenever I’m stressed and finicky. Yoga has several health benefits too and I wish everyone practices this artform every single day," she added.
