The Weird: The Al Yankovic Story actor and his longtime partner Erin Darke are expecting their first child together.

Daniel Radcliffe and longtime girlfriend Erin Darke, who first met on the set of the 2013 feature Kill Your Darlings, are going to become parents! According to The Hollywood Reporter, a representative for the Harry Potter actor shared on Saturday that Darke is pregnant. The 33-year-old actor does not tend to share much about his personal life and is not on social media.

“I think in the years since I’ve been sober, I just don’t do anything interesting enough,” he shared once during a 2022 interview with the outlet. “As an actor, I just want to live my life and see my friends, and I just want the thing people talk about to be the work.”

While promoting his 2022 outing Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Radcliffe told Newsweek that he’d love to have his kids on film sets. “I want my kids, if and when they exist…I would love them to be around film sets,” he said, adding that the sets are “wonderful places” but at the same time he feels the fame side of that “should be avoided at all costs.”

The couple first met on the set of their 2013 feature film Kill Your Darlings. The film is "a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time," Radcliffe told Playboy in October 2015 of their film. "There’s no acting going on – not from my end, anyway."

"There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character,” he added at the time. “She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble." The couple also worked together in 2021 for an episode of Radcliffe's TBS series Miracle Workers.
