The First Omen Trailer uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that brings the birth of evil incarnate

A terrifying new trailer and poster for 20th Century Studios' upcoming psychological horror film The First Omen was unveiled recently. The film, which is a prequel to the classic horror film franchise, opens April 5, 2024, exclusively in theatres.

Speaking of the plotline, when a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate. Talking about the star cast, the horror thriller features Tawfeek Barhom and Nell Tiger Free, along with Sonia Braga from Kiss of the Spider Woman, Ralph Ineson from The Northman, with Charles Dance of Game of Thrones fame, and Bill Nighy from Living.

The First Omen is directed by Arkasha Stevenson based on characters created by David Seltzer who was also a part of The Omen (1976), with a story by Ben Jacoby of Bleed fame and a screenplay by Tim Smith & Arkasha Stevenson and Keith Thomas. The producers are David S. Goyer and Keith Levine, whereas the executive producers are Tim Smith, Whitney Brown, and Gracie Wheelan.
