GOT7’s JAY B's agency confirms his break up with YouTuber PURE.D

South Korean artists GOT7’s Jay B and YouTuber PURE.D have officially ended their relationship, Jay B’s agency confirmed. The two artists began dating at the end of 2020 and confirmed their relationship last July. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, JAY B’s agency CDNZA Records confirmed their split on February 10.

“JAY B and PURE.D have broken up,” the agency shared with a news portal Newsen. “While focusing on their own work, they naturally grew apart and have decided to remain good colleagues.”

Meanwhile, Jay B is reported to have quietly enlisted in military as a social service worker. The GOT7 singer also made a donation of 60 million won (over Rs. 39 lakhs) from the military to support the victims of Turkey and Syria earthquake.

"After wrapping up the world tour, I decided to make a donation to convey love to children around the world in return for the fans who showed warm interest and love during Jay B's world tour," Jay b shared, as translated by his fan club DefDaily.

As per a report from Korean website Naver, the donation will be used to support children in need in the region in order to live up to the love of fans in each continent. It will be used primarily for the Syrian Earthquake Emergency Relief Project, according to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.

Talking about the casualties in Turkey and Syria after the severe earthquakes, he said, “I hope that children who have been physically and mentally injured can recover as soon as possible and return to normal daily life. I hope you will join us in helping.”
