Directed by the acclaimed Woo Min-ho, Harbin follows a group of determined freedom fighters as they embark on a perilous mission to liberate Korea from Japanese occupation. The film's central figure is Ahn Jung Geun, brought to life by Hyun Bin. Known for his roles in Crash Landing on You and Confidential Assignment, Hyun Bin undergoes a dramatic transformation to portray the resolute independence activist. Joining Hyun Bin is a stellar ensemble cast including Lee Dong Wook, Park Jung Min, Jo Woo Jin, and Jeon Yeo Been. Their characters are integral to the intricate web of alliances and betrayals that unfold in the heart of Harbin.

The newly released poster and the international trailer of the film give a striking visual that captures the film's atmosphere of suspense and determination. The elongated shadows of the main characters, including Ahn Jung Geun's intense gaze, evoke a sense of impending danger and heroic resolve. The teaser, on the other hand, offers a glimpse into the film's action-packed sequences and the emotional depth of its characters. Ahn Jung Geun's powerful declaration, “The leader of the Japanese wolves ravaging Korea—I must kill that old wolf at all costs,” sets the stage for a thrilling and emotionally charged narrative.

The collaboration between director Woo Min Ho and cinematographer Hong Kyung Pyo promises a visually stunning cinematic experience. Filmed across the diverse landscapes of Mongolia, Latvia, and Korea, Harbin is scheduled for a theatrical release in the second half of the year.
