The couple had initially planned to elope to Africa, but the logistical challenges of hosting 200 guests in the wilderness led them to reconsider. Instead, they decided to postpone their honeymoon to Africa and focus on planning a more intimate wedding in Italy. "When we visited Capri and the Amalfi region in 2022, we felt catapulted back in time to the glamour of 1960s Hollywood," Amy explained. "Castello di Rocca Cilento, where we celebrated our special day, prides itself on the motto 'Here, Love Reigns.' It was truly the perfect setting for us."

Amy and Ed's engagement was announced earlier this year in January, when Ed popped the question in Gstaad, Switzerland. The actress shared the heartwarming moment on Instagram, expressing her excitement and happiness. "Hell yes," she wrote, accompanied by a ring emoji.
Before she engaged with Ed, Amy was previously engaged to George Panayiotou, with whom she shares her son Andreas.
