South Korean superstar Kim Jun Myeon, better known by his stage name SUHO, the leader of the K-pop group EXO, recently enthralled Indian fans with his solo concert in Mumbai. This marked his second visit to the country and his first solo performance in the city. Arriving in Mumbai on October 18, 2024, Suho was greeted by a throng of enthusiastic fans who had gathered at the airport to welcome their beloved idol. Later that day, he took to the stage at Bayview Lawns, captivating the audience with his mesmerizing vocals and charismatic stage presence at the K-Wave Festival 2024.

In a brief interview with Bollywood Hungama ahead of his Mumbai show, SUHO shared insights into his musical journey, citing The Beatles as a major influence on his artistry. He said, “I am a huge fan of The Beatles. I think my music is inspired by The Beatles a lot.” He also discussed his deep connection to certain songs and his passion for creating music that resonates with his fans. “The title song of my first album is called ‘Let’s Love’ and it is EXO’s motto. It is really meaningful for me and EXO-L (the group’s fandom). This is my favourite from the album,” he added.

During the concert, Suho expressed his gratitude to the Indian fans for their unwavering support. Dressed in a stylish ensemble, he greeted the crowd with a warm “Namaste” and proceeded to perform a variety of songs from his solo discography, including “Morning Star,” “Self-Portrait,” “1 to 3,” and “For You Now.” The highlight of the concert was undoubtedly the EXO medley, which featured iconic tracks like “Growl,” “Overdose,” “Let’s Love,” and “Made In You.” The crowd erupted in cheers and sang along, creating an electric atmosphere.

SUHO further endeared himself to the Indian fans by speaking in Hindi, saying, “Mera Naam Suho Hai,” and promising to return to India with his EXO members. He concluded the concert with a heartfelt declaration of love, saying, “Main Tumse Pyaar Karta Hoon.”

Following his successful Mumbai concert, Suho also performed in Bengaluru on October 20, 2024, continuing to spread his musical magic across India.
