American reality TV stars and sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian touched down in Mumbai early Friday morning, creating a stir at the airport. The sisters are in India to attend the much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani, to Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoon Viren Merchant. Videos circulating on social media show Kim, 43, and Khloe, 40, exiting the airport with their entourage. Kim even gave a quick wave to the waiting paparazzi before being whisked away in a car.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kim documented her arrival in India, marking a first visit for both sisters. One clip shows a security guard politely requesting the enthusiastic paparazzi to make way for their car. Kim also shared a sweet video expressing gratitude for the warm welcome she received at the hotel. Staff presented her with a traditional teeka on her forehead, a shawl, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Subsequent videos offer glimpses of the opulent hotel decorations and the sisters being escorted to their rooms. A live flute performance added a touch of cultural immersion as staff carried salvers decorated with diyas (oil lamps) and flowers. Khloe's Instagram stories revealed a production crew following them around, capturing their experiences.
They also took auto rickshaw ride in Mumbai. The video was shared by Khloe on her Instagram stories.
This high-profile wedding marks the culmination of four months of extravagant pre-wedding celebrations. The festivities kicked off in March at Jamnagar, Gujarat, featuring performances by global stars like Rihanna, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt.
In June, the celebrations went international with a luxury cruise across Italy and the South of France. Guests were treated to performances by the Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry, and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Last week, singer-songwriter Justin Bieber set the stage on fire at the sangeet ceremony held in Mumbai.
The wedding itself will take place on Friday, July 12, at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, followed by multi-day dinner receptions. The guest list promises to be a star-studded affair, with reports suggesting the attendance of several international celebrities, business leaders, and political figures.
Expected attendees include former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, futurist Peter Diamandis, artist Jeff Koons, self-help coach Jay Shetty, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
