South Korean hit drama Taxi Driver is returning with its new season and the makers have released new stills of its lead Lee Je Hoon from the upcoming second season.

In the new stills shared by SBS from Season 2, Kim Do Gi is being held in solitary confinement in prison, as Korean tabloid Soompi notes. He sports his long, grown hair covering his eyes. He is seen wearing a prison uniform rather than his signature bomber jacket. Another still features a chiseled and toned Kim Do Gi training alone in the confinement.

Taxi Driver revolves around Rainbow Taxi Company and the taxi driver, Do Gi, who delivers justice that Korean society has lost by seeking revenge on criminals who get away with their evil deeds. Based on The Deluxe Taxi by Carlos and Lee Jae Jin, the first season saw Lee Je Hoon starring alongside Esom, Kim Eui Sung, Cha Ji-Yeon, Bae Yoo-Ram, Jang Hyuk-Jin and Pyo Ye Jin.

The production team commented, “Lee Je Hoon is doing his very best every moment on set, based on his special love for the Taxi Driver series. From his acting to making the piece come alive visually, he has tremendous amount of passion to deliver an even more complete and high-quality season than Season 1.”

They continued, “In Season 2, you will be able to enjoy much more memorable action sequences and a variety of even more amusing performances in Lee Je Hoon’s ‘N Do Gi Series.’ Please look forward to it.”

Taxi Driver 2 is slated to premiere on February 17 at 10 p.m. KST.
