Pop legend Madonna has postponed her Celebration world tour after she was admitted to the ICU for a serious bacterial infection. Her tour was supposed to kickstart in Vancouver on July 15.
Her manager Guy Oseary shared an Instagram post that read, “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

He added, “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. “We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
Madonna, the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time, had announced The Celebration Tour in January 2023 which has sold-out over 40 shows and counting across Toronto, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and more. The Celebration Tour was to kick off on Saturday, July 15th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC with stops in Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, and more before making its way to Europe. She is supposed to perform in 15 cities in Europe including Antwerp, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, among others. She will then return to the U.S. for the additional dates across New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and more. The Celebration Tour will offer a one-of-a-kind experience with special guest Bob the Drag Queen a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue across all dates on the global tour.
