Marvel Studios delays The Marvels release; debuts new teaser poster

The Marvels has pushed its release date to November 10, 2023.

Marvel Studios has moved The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel, release date by unveiling a new teaser poster. As shared by Collider, originally slated to release July 28, the movie will now release on November 10, the studio has confirmed. The new poster features all three heroes together. Kamala can be seen on the ground; on top of her in the air is Carol with Monica further on the top.

Their powers are also distinguished by different colors - orange, purple and blue hue respectively. The new poster also comes with a new Captain Marvel’s catchphrase as the poster reads “Higher, Further, Faster, Together.”

Initially, The Marvels was scheduled for a February 17, 2023 release after being postponed due to the pandemic. However, Marvel Studios then announced that The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, have swapped release dates with The Marvels arriving on July 28, 2023.

Now, with the release of the first The Marvels teaser poster, the studio has announced another delay. Directed by Nia Dacosta, The Marvels stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, and more.

The Marvels will debut in theaters on November 10, 2023.
