Popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN’s member, Chinese singer-songwriter THE8 (Xu Minghao), has set hearts racing with his recent dance moves on the popular Bollywood song ‘Aankhein Khuli Ho’ from Shah Rukh Khan – Amitabh Bachchan starrer Mohabbatein. The video, which quickly gained traction on social media, showcases THE8 grooving to the Chinese version of the song, wearing a peacock costume which left the fans in stitches.
For those unfamiliar, ‘Aankhein Khuli Ho’ is a beloved song from the 2000 Bollywood film Mohabbatein. The song has been picturised on Shah Rukh Khan along with Uday Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma, Jimmy Sheirgill, Preeti Jangiani along with cameos of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Helen. The Chinese version previously went viral back in 2020 on social media.

SEVENTEEN fans, who are Indians, were quite amused by THE8’s dance. He was in China recently filming the variety show Youth Periplous Season 5 with singer-songwriter Henry Lau, Hong Kong actress Charlene Choi, actors Yang Di and Lars Huang along with several other cast members. It seemed like they were wearing costumes for some task on the show and the video sees THE8, wearing a peacock costume. The video was posted on Weibo by the variety show's team.
Meanwhile, back in April 2024, SEVENTEEN dropped their Best Album 17 IS RIGHT HERE with an avant-garde music video for the lead single ‘MAESTRO’.
