The seventh installment of the Paramount Pictures franchise is set to open on June 9, 2023.

The makers of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts have offered a new preview debuted at 2023 Super Bowl. The upcoming seventh installment of the Paramount Pictures franchise is introducing new set of transformers called the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is directed by Steven Caple Jr. Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback lead the cast for the film which includes new voice actors like Ron Perlman as the gorilla-inspired Optimus Primal, Michelle Yeoh as fellow Maximal Airazor, and Pete Davidson as Autobot Mirage. Entertainment One, Hasbro’s entertainment studio, is executive producing, while Skydance is co-financing and executive producing.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian and Duncan Henderson. This is the first film in the franchise since 2018’s Bumblebee. Rise of the Beasts will be set in the 1990s between the events of Bumblebee and the main film series started by Michael Bay in 2007.

“Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons,” the official synopsis reads.

The sequel is set to open on June 9, 2023 release after being pushed back a year by a pandemic-era production delay. Watch the new footage below!
