They came together in Love Aaj Kal...now will get repeated in Aarakshan. We are indeed talking about the oh-so-lovely paring of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. Saif looks almost unrecognizable with the glasses and moustache. Deepika too will be sporting desi look in the film.
If one looks at both, Big B as well as Prakash Jha, they look like long lost brothers. No…this isn't a filmi drama of lost brothers. The fact is that, it was actually Big B who insisted on growing his beard like Prakash Jha so as to get into the 'skin of the character'.
Till date, you must have heard of only the 'Clash Of The Titans'. Well, now, its time for 'Coming together Of The Titans'. We are referring to the association of Amitabh Bachchan and director Prakash Jha for the film called Aarakshan. Big B recently posted some of the pictures from the sets on his blog.
The entire film has been shot keeping Bhopal as the backdrop. This doesn't come as a surprise as most of Jha's movies are set in the heartland of India.
The film is based on student politics and reservations. Besides the towering presence of Big B, the film also has Prateik and Manoj Bajpayee in pivotal role. If the reports are to be believed, then, Prateik's character is in love with Deepika Padukone. However, Deepika loves Saif Ali Khan instead. She makes this very clear to Prateik who continues to pursue her.
All in all, Aarakshan is the film to watch out for!
