Love her or hate her but there is no way you can ignore her. We are indeed talking about the one and only Mallika Sherawat who is busy hobnobbing with the 'Best from the West' at the prestigious 64th annual Cannes Film Festival 2011.
At an exclusive luncheon on the famed Palais terrace, Mallika rubbed shoulders with event hostess Baroness Rothschild and her guests Emir Kusturica, Geoffrey Rush, Faye Dunnaway and Cannes Film Festival Director Jill Jacob.
Sources say Mallika extended an invite of her own for her film party on the May 17 to a few select personages including Baroness herself.
Mallika surely knows how to demand attention. If last year she had a snake round her neck at the red carpet while promoting Hisss, this time it was her dress which has got her the eyeballs. Madame Sherawat wore a black see through gown which gave viewers a pretty clear view of her black panty.
Later over the weekend, the actress was spotted at the special screening of Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides at the French Riviera. The actress merrily posed for the shutterbugs and didn't leave any opportunity to promote her upcoming flick
